The practice of still life painting develops and strengthens your ability of observation.  This workshop is for both beginners and intermediate artists.  Joevic will talk about how to dissect what we see, understanding light effects, organize our thinking process, and application.  There will be lectures and demos on color theory, color mixing, hue, value, modeling, edge control, brushwork, paint handling and palette management.  Students will then practice from a still life set up with a single light source.  vInstructor will assist each student and provide individual critiques.

All levels welcome, but some experience drawing or painting is recommended.
