In this immersive camp, students will delve into the fundamentals of 2D animation. Utilizing cutting-edge digital tools - Procreate Dreams on iPad, we'll trace the origins of traditional animation, blending classic techniques with modern technology. Through a guided approach and hands-on exercises, students will not only grasp the foundational principles of animation but also get the opportunity to unleash their creativity by independently exploring advanced techniques. Our journey will commence with a focus on animation principles, progress to physical explorations of movement, and culminate in an exploration of emotions—all underscored by a dedication to enhancing drawing skills. Key topics covered include, but are not limited to, squash and stretch, anticipation, timing, follow-through, and exaggeration. Join us for an enriching experience where animation comes to life!
