Drawing is an ongoing practice! This class is perfect for teens looking to develop and advance their foundation drawing skills. The instructor will discuss compositions, positive/negative shapes, design, perspective, proportion, high key/low key and portrait drawing. Students will use their observational skills and gain familiarity with various drawing media such as graphite, charcoal pencils, white charcoal pencils, charcoal sticks and liquid charcoal. They will work on different drawing exercises that include but not limited to master copy, cast drawing, gesture drawings, value studies, blind contours, cross/contour drawings, and cross-hatching. Materials are provided.
