Students will explore their imagination by creating their own characters and learning basic manga techniques. They will also learn how to use archival art markers, colored pencils, and art pens to create works, focusing on color theory and their line-work, as well as how to save money when creating high-quality art. We will explore both classic and popular manga published all over the world and how artists express themselves as individuals, and how students can take their own experiences and translate them into a comic.
