In this course, we will have fun drawing all kinds of monsters and fairies, from mythical creatures to bizarre animals found in nature, and everything in between. We will exercise our creative muscles with prompts to help us think outside the box. We will practice working with peers to brainstorm and collaborate on creative ideas. And we will learn about how to use inspiration from a variety of sources to create new ideas for creatures that are unique! Some basic drawing skills are needed. Students should feel comfortable replicating basic shapes, know their colors, and be able to follow step-by-step instructions.
